Italpinas Development Corporation and SunShare Philippines Inc. formalize Memorandum of Understanding

MAKATI CITY, Philippines – Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC), a publicly listed sustainable property developer, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SunShare to explore opportunities for integrating renewable energy solutions across its property developments.

The proposed collaboration will focus on the potential installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) panels across IDC properties, alongside initiatives to optimize electricity management and improve energy efficiency. Through this partnership, both companies aim to expand the use of renewable energy while exploring ways to reduce electricity costs for homeowners and end users.

SunShare is a renewable energy company specializing in solar energy solutions, supporting the transition toward cleaner and more efficient power through the adoption of solar technology.

The initiative reflects IDC's continuing commitment to incorporating sustainability into its developments, not only through environmentally conscious design but also through practical solutions that contribute to more efficient building operations and long-term value for residents.

The partnership comes as IDC continues to expand its presence in the affordable and economic housing segment through its wholly owned subsidiary, IDC Homes, Inc. As the company broadens its reach across different market segments, it remains focused on exploring sustainable solutions that make responsible and efficient living more accessible.

For Italpinas, the MOU represents another step toward its vision of creating thoughtfully designed, environmentally responsive communities that deliver lasting value to homeowners and future generations.
